Francis E. Dec was a lawyer and outsider writer.

You'd think all that fresh air would be good for him, but his specialty was writing exposés about conspiracies by agencies and companies using electronics. And this was even before Cambridge Analytica. That makes him a forerunner of news coverage today, Donald Trump's tweets and Russia's highly successful disinformation program. He is then also the father of much of what appears on the internet. Wackypedia owes him a debt of gratitude for giving it things on which to write.

In keeping with his outsider reputation and his dislike of electronics, he wrote all his works on the walls of his house, then sent the house to his publisher. A manual typewriter was also out of bounds, as he was never able to successfully get a wall into any brand of typewriter.

One of his most well-known works was All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. It was later adapted into a movie and a mantra for the Dalai Lama.
