Bulgaria is a great country in the Balkans. It is great to leave, with a shrinking population since the 1990s. It is great to be poor there, because everyone else is.
Despite being a NATO member, not all of its military has gotten the word that the days of the Warsaw Pact are over. Thus, Russian-built aircraft are often seen in the skies over Germany, France and Italy, which its citizens pretty much ignore. This is not aggression on the part of Bulgaria, but is due to the poor state of repair of their navigational equipment. Aircraft fans in Europe can always spot Bulgarian fighters and bombers by the corrosion present, plus the lack of a wing or two.
