Bugger is a multipurpose word useful for all occasions.
Once forbidden, it came into general usage when King George V's last words were supposedly "Bugger Bognor", which his loyal subjects promptly did upon his death. Today, there is nothing like a bunch of little buggers buggering off to Bognor Regis for a bit of buggery and buggering about until they're completely buggered.
And that completely exhausts the subject. No?? Bugger that.
